If you wish to have your Verizon BlackBerry device setup to communicate with Ball State's Microsoft Outlook Email system you will need to contact the Helpdesk, (765) 285-1517, to make the request. After activating the BlackBerry device, by dialing the activation number, you will need to do the following:       

• Set the date, time and time zone on the device
• Install the BlackBerry Desktop Manager, using the default choices.
• Attach the BlackBerry cradle to the target computer and insert the BlackBerry device.
• Select the appropriate connection settings in the BlackBerry
  Desktop Manager (Options->Connection Settings); typically USB.
• Perform the initial sync using the Synchronize Now option in Intellisync.
• Configure the calendar for wireless sync:
      -  BlackBerry Desktop Manager->Intellisync->Configure PIM
      -  Select the Calendar line item, and click Choose
      -  Select the BlackBerry Wireless Sync option
      -  Select OK
• Re-sync the BlackBerry device using Synchronize Now option in Intellisync
